The BUILDING & INFRASTRUCTURE segment combines interdisciplinary expertise in the areas of laboratory analysis, building safety, hygiene and compliance consulting. The services range from chemical and microbiological tests for environmental media, drinking water, indoor air, materials and technical systems to accredited analyses, residue tests and hygiene assessments of complex building systems. This supports the safe operation of buildings, infrastructures and sensitive technical environments.
A central focus is on the safety and performance of built environments. This includes fire protection engineering, advice on building regulations, façade and system assessments, air purity measurements, testing of ventilation and air conditioning systems and drinking water hygiene analyses. The validation of cleaning processes and the optimisation of operational procedures also contribute to functional and hygienic safety. In addition, testing and certification services are provided for sports surfaces, materials and equipment in order to ensure quality, durability and user safety and to promote sustainable innovation.
Another core area is risk and compliance management.
