IFU-CERT

IFU-CERT is an established certification and environmental assessment organization that supports companies and organizations in becoming more sustainable and resilient. Our core expertise lies in the certification of management systems, including quality, environmental, occupational health and safety, energy management, and information security systems. We also offer specialized sustainability certifications such as SURE, REDcert, and "We Impact."

We are currently in the accreditation process to become a verification body for carbon footprint services and emissions trading, and we are already authorized to verify CO₂ emissions at airports through the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) program. Our environmental assessment expertise also includes environmental compliance audits, EMAS validations, and certification of specialized waste disposal facilities.

Starting in 2025, we will expand our offerings to include training programs aimed at supporting companies and nonprofit organizations in developing and advancing management systems and sustainability initiatives.

We serve a diverse range of industries, with a particular focus on manufacturing, consulting, IT, transportation, energy, renewable energy, agriculture, educational institutions, and healthcare. With locations in Hanover and Frankfurt, our team includes 30 full-time employees and around 60 freelance auditors and assessors.
