CERTANIA and natureOffice Drive Global Carbon Reduction with transparent CO2 Tracking and Renewable Energy Investments
CERTANIA proudly announces the successful offsetting of its CO2 emissions for the third consecutive year, reinforcing its unwavering commitment to sustainability. This achievement builds on previous years’ accomplishments and was made possible through continued collaboration with natureOffice, a CERTANIA company and a leading provider of carbon offset solutions.
Tracking, Transparency, and Certification
To maintain transparency and accountability, natureOffice has implemented a robust tracking system. This system offers information about the exact amount of CO2 emissions that have been compensated and further information on the offsetting projects. Stakeholders can access this information through a dedicated online platform, ensuring full visibility into CERTANIA’s environmental initiatives. The tracking system, accessible via natureOffice’s tracking platform, provides a comprehensive overview of all offsetting activities, including project details and emissions data.
As part of this initiative, the total emissions offset since tracking began in 2021 are now available to the public. In addition, each CERTANIA partner company has received its own tracking link and an official certificate of compensation from natureOffice. These certificates serve as a testament to their commitment to environmental responsibility, helping them enhance their image among clients, stakeholders, and the broader community.
Carbon Compensation Project
CERTANIA’s carbon offset efforts for 2023 were directed towards the “Renewable Energy Power Projects by Atria Power.” This initiative, focused on renewable energy generation through wind and solar power, operates in the Karnataka region of India. Covering the vintage years 2021 to 2022, the project contributes to sustainable energy solutions by utilizing wind and solar resources to mitigate CO2 emissions. Looking Ahead
Building on this success, CERTANIA is preparing to launch its CO2 footprint reporting process for 2024, developed in collaboration with partner company DFGE. This reporting initiative will provide comprehensive insights into the carbon emissions of each partner company, enabling further opportunities to offset these emissions through natureOffice. Additional details regarding the reporting process will be shared soon.
