Class joins CERTANIA
Italian specialist in hospital air/hygiene monitoring and process validation expands CERTANIA’s Life Sciences offering across Europe
Budrio/Munich, 23 September 2026 – Class S.r.l. (“Class”), a specialized Italian provider of qualification, validation, and environmental monitoring services for hospital environments, has joined CERTANIA Group.
Headquartered in Budrio near Bologna, Class supports nationwide public and private healthcare institutions with compliance-driven testing and monitoring solutions. Operating in safety-critical settings where stringent hygiene standards and regulatory obligations demand continuous vigilance, the team provides deep technical expertise across hygiene testing, qualification and validation for hospitals. Their four core service lines: continuous operating room monitoring, antineoplastic drug unit (ADU) validation, cleanroom performance testing, and continuous formaldehyde monitoring in pathology departments.
Building upon roots dating back to 1991 and operating under its current company structure since 2020, Class brings decades of specialized experience in hospital safety.
The partnership marks a strategic milestone for CERTANIA, establishing a solid entry point into Italy’s high-barrier healthcare market. By moving into patient-facing hospital environments, Class naturally complements the Group’s existing pharmaceutical qualification and validation capabilities. Within CERTANIA, Class will collaborate closely with existing Life Sciences partners such as Öhmi Analytik, Groupe Icare, SPGL and FSI, to link pharmaceutical quality assurance with specialized hospital hygiene.
