ICP Analytik joins the CERTANIA Group

Accredited water analytics laboratory in Northern Germany strengthens CERTANIA’s Buildings & Infrastructure segment and expands its coverage in drinking water and environmental analytics.

Munich/Preetz (Schleswig-Holstein, Germany), 5 May 2026 – ICP Analytik GmbH & Co. KG (“ICP Analytik”) joins CERTANIA and strengthens the Group’s Buildings & Infrastructure segment. ICP Analytik is an accredited analytical laboratory with a focus on drinking water analytics, complementary environmental analytics, as well as sampling and training services. The company supports customers across Germany, including municipal water suppliers, public institutions, healthcare facilities, the housing sector, commercial operators, industrial and commercial sites, and building- and plant-related applications.

Based in Preetz, Schleswig-Holstein, ICP Analytik has more than 25 years of experience in water analytics. The company is accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and listed as a drinking water testing body in Schleswig-Holstein. Its service portfolio includes drinking water testing, including Legionella analysis and services related to the German Drinking Water Ordinance, environmental analytics covering areas such as air, soil, swimming and bathing water, and wastewater, as well as market-leading sampler training programmes.

With ICP Analytik, CERTANIA strengthens its presence in Northern Germany and expands its ability to coordinate sampling and analytics efficiently. A key element is ICP Analytik’s proprietary digital infrastructure, UMPO/LIMS, which digitally maps workflows from order entry and sampling through to laboratory analysis, reporting, and invoicing. In addition, ICP Analytik brings a nationwide network of external samplers, supporting broader reach and responsiveness in the market.

The integration also creates concrete synergy potential within the Group. By connecting ICP Analytik with CERTANIA partners in water and environmental analytics, CERTANIA can bundle expertise and support customers with a broader, complementary service offering.
