Founder & Chief Executive Officer CERTANIA Holding GmbH
Karsten Xander is the founder and CEO of CERTANIA Group. His career showcases his exceptional leadership and strategic capabilities across various global roles within the TIC sector. A cornerstone was his tenure at the global Executive Board of TÜV SÜD, a global leader in TIC services. For over a decade, Karsten managed the activities in the Industrial and Infrastructure segments, headed the Americas region from the USA and gained insights into major end customer segments. His leadership was crucial in the development and execution of the company’s strategy, where he spearheaded organic growth initiatives, managed turnaround situations, and successfully led M&A transactions. Karsten served on behalf of Quadriga Capital at the advisory board of GBA, an European champion in the food, environment and life science TIC sectors, which was strategically developed and successfully sold 2020. Initially, Karsten received a master's degree in economics from the University of Mannheim and built a strong foundation in strategy management consultancy. His experience spans managing both medium-sized companies and large multinational corporations, with a deep understanding of global business dynamics, earned through his roles on supervisory and executive boards.

Moritz Gruber is an important member of the leadership team at CERTANIA Holding GmbH, serving as Chief Executive Officer. His extensive knowledge in the fields of healthcare, post-merger management, due diligence, and turnaround management, along with his experience in leading and advising several successful companies, make him a crucial asset for the strategic leadership and direction of the company. He has been the founder and CEO of several companies, including Certos, Rysta, and CertoClav. Additionally, he has served as a Senior Advisor for OakTree Partners and held a leadership role at McKinsey & Company, where he led turnaround programs, conducted due diligence examinations, and managed post-merger integration projects. With a Master of Laws from New York University School of Law and a Magister Juris from the University of Vienna, he also possesses a strong educational background.
Chief Financial Officer CERTANIA Holding GmbH
As Chief Financial Officer, Mathias Blank is an important member of the management team and is responsible for the financial transparency of CERTANIA Holding GmbH. He has more than 20 years of professional experience as Head of Finance and CFO in wholesale, the chemical industry and plant construction as well as the TIC sector. Before joining CERTANIA, he was responsible for setting up the finance department of the Tentamus Group, assisted with the post-merger integration of acquired companies in Germany and abroad and played a key role in supporting the entry of a new financial investor. He holds a degree in industrial engineering from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and a master's degree in business law from Saarland University.

Daniel Beringer is Managing Partner, co-founder and speaker at GREENPEAK. He has 20+ years of experience as an entrepreneur and private equity professional with a lenghty track record of building businesses and investments within the business services, tech, real estate, and infrastructure sectors. He has helped to found and building companies with comined revenue of over € 500 mn. Daniel graduated from New York University with an M.A. in Economics and holds a B.A. in Philopophy, Politics and Economincs from Keele University. Furthermore, Daniel is participating in the YPO Presidents Program at Harvard Business School.

Carsten Transfeld is an Observer Advisory Board member of CERTANIA and a member of the Management Board of ÖHMI AG. In his 10 years of leadership at ÖHMI, he continuously and sustainably shaped the company into a nationwide integrated TIC service provider with a strong focus on service and customer orientation. In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Carsten is strongly committed to society. Since 2021, he has been the Vice President of the IHK Magdeburg. Before joining ÖHMI, he worked as a lawyer at GÖRG in the areas of M&A, corporate law, and insolvency law, advising German medium-sized entrepreneurs and companies. Carsten completed his law studies at the University of Bayreuth with an additional study in economics and a doctorate in the field of economic analysis of law regarding the precautionary principle.
